Positive Role Models
Helping young people turn their dreams into reality
Sports
We use a range of sports as a vehicle to help teach valuable life skills and transform the lives of young people in North London. Through sport, we can tackle a wide-range of issues, from social-integration, to leadership skills, to body confidence, to respect, self-discipline, teamwork and so much more.
Our sports activities bring young people together and breaks down social boundaries. We inspire young people to make positive changes in their life and to be accountable for their actions, respectful to their parents and teachers as well as set them on a path to being active long-term.
Basketball is the specialist sport for Positive Role Models, however, we offer a range of sports, which include, but are not limited to netball, football, dance, archery and rugby. Our community sport sessions are open to everyone and our amazing coaches volunteer their time, so if you would like to support us or learn more, please get in touch.
One of our most successful projects, is Haringey Hawks a championship and award-winning Haringey based community youth basketball club that was founded by Franck, who is also the head coach.
Under Franck’s leadership, Haringey Hawks, most recent accolades are:
